Counselling/psychotherapy is an individual experience and I understand that speaking to someone about what is bothering you can be a very difficult decision.
I aim to offer a way of building a strong, confidential and professional relationship in which you can feel safe enough to share and explore difficulties at your own pace.
I work to help and support you by being alongside whatever life journey you find yourself travelling along.
Whilst I am true to my chosen modality of Person-centred counselling, there might be times where I feel it might suit the situation or your individual needs for me to offer to integrate different and creative ways of working. This might include CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) techniques, Solution-Focussed practice and Art Therapy skills, using images. I will always discuss the options for this with you to explain how you might benefit from this way of working.
